Originally selected from the wild in the Albany district of Western Australia by Forest Native Nursery of Duffy's Forest, NSW around 1983.
Upright shrub with soft foliage and bright pink cup shaped flowers which age to a deep red.
Vigorous grower. Moderately frost hardy. Not drought hardy. Requires a shady moist but well-drained position. Place large rocks around plant to give it a cool root run. Excellent cut flower. Can be grown in a tub.
