Occurs naturally on the Gibraltar Range in northern NSW. May be a form of Callistemon pungens subsp. synoriensis
Dense shrub with pinkish new growth and mushroom pink flowers. Frost/drought hardy, adaptable to most soils including waterlogged sites, full sun. Suited to windbreaks, screens, hedges, background plant in the garden. Attracts birds. Very hardy.
