Prostrate form of G. lanigera which occurs in a wide range of habitats in south eastern New South Wales, A.C.T., from Wilsons Promontory in Victoria to the north east corner and into the high country.
Prostrate spreading shrub with soft narrow leaves and small red and cream spider flowers. Very hardy to frost and drought. Full sun to part shade, well-drained soils, may spread by suckering. Rockeries, ground cover, under trees, embankments. Birds.
