Tableland areas of the central east coast of New South Wales, generally south of Sydney and extending to the coastal area near Jervis Bay. It is usually found in shallow soils derived from sandstone.
Open shrub with glossy pointed leaves and large lavender pink flowers. Frost/drought hardy, well-drained position with regular watering. Adaptable to most soils. Prune lightly to shape after flowering. Bees/butterflies.
