Shallot Long White Bunching
Shallots are a is a type of onion that grows long, slender, silvery white stalks. These quick to mature Shallots can be grown in clusters and used for Spring Onions, and make a great addition to salads, soups, stir fries or anywhere else a more subtle onion flavour is required. Easy to grow and quick to mature these shallots will continue to grow repeat stems after harvesting single stems. Plant out in well composted soil and water regularly. Space plants 15 cm apart. Fresh and tangy in flavour they can be grown in tubs or in the garden. Will self sow if allowed to seed from year to year.
