Occurs naturally in coastal heath in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.
Upright open shrub with long stiff needle like leaves with sharp points and masses of pink and white spider flowers along the stems. Frost/drought hardy. Well-drained site. Plant in background or a part of the garden that gets little attention. Ideal shrub for bird nesting and protection. Good for deterring intruders.
