Pink form of the mintbush which grows naturally along the New South Wales coastline from Mount Warning to Victoria, as well as the Central Tablelands in sheltered sites in rainforest margins or dry forest.
Small open shrub with strongly aromatic leaves and masses of pale pink flowers in springtime. Frost and drought hardy. Adaptable to heavy soils but best grown in a well-drained soil in full sun to semi-shade. Excellent as an understorey shrub. Fast growing. Prune after flowering to maintain shape.
