This species grows naturally in South Australia on Kangaroo Island and along the SA coastline. Colours vary from bright orange to deep pink. Plants often occur along roadsides in the shelter of Mallee gums or on exposed rocky cliff tops.
Small attractive shrub with small dark green leaves and masses of pink to orange bell flowers. Frost/drought hardy,
prefers a well-drained semi-shaded position. Prune annually to maintain density. Water during dry spells. Foreground shrub, tubs, courtyards, rockeries,near the house.
