Grows naturally in south east Queensland in pockets of decomposed granite on high exposed rock pavements and in adjoining healthy eucalypt woodland.
Sculptural spreading shrub with layered branches, bluish grey foliage and tiny yellow flowers which cover the stems and are full of nectar. Excellent landscaping plant. Frost/drought hardy. Well-drained position in full sun. Rockeries foreground, tubs, formal gardens, courtyards.
