Grows naturally on rocky slopes in the Warrumbungles, NSW.
Open weeping shrub with narrow greyish green aromatic leaves and masses of pale mauve flowers which cover the bush in springtime. Frost and very drought hardy. Best grown in a well-drained soil in full sun. Excellent as a specimen in the garden, background shrub or as an understorey plant in a bush garden. Prune lightly after flowering to shape. Butterflies.
