Widespread tree which grows naturally along the east coast and ranges in Queensland and NSW.
Attractive small tree with soft oval shaped leaves, a dense crown and small creamy white flowers along the stems in spring followed by clusters of woody follicles which hold a pair of seeds each. Frost and drought hardy and adaptable to most soils and conditions. Suited to all gardens as a background or understorey small tree. Excellent avenue tree. Easy care. Prune off lower branches as the plant grows. Attractive to small birds.
