Widespread coastal species usually found in eucalypt forest or woodland on sandstone or sand dunes, on the coast, in the Blue Mtns and extending into Qld, Vic and Tas.
Small gnarled tree with hard shiny serrated leaves and large yellow/grey brushes. Moderately frost and drought hardy. Best grown in a well-drained position in an understorey of Eucalypts, Acacias and Casuarinas.
