Medium multi-branched shrub with small stiff leaves, pinkish new growth and masses of bright red brushes tipped with yellow. Frost and drought hardy. Suited to most soils. Foreground shrub, bush gardens, screens, tubs. Highly bird attractive. Prune lightly after flowering.
