Upright dense shrub withfine aromatic foliage and masses of wine red flowers. Moderately frost and drought hardy. Grows best in well-drained soils in semi-shade. Foreground shrub, against the house, courtyards, tubs. Prune lightly after flowering. Place large rocks around the base of the plant and do not allow to dry out.
